Our attempts to suss out the city of Porto was completely thwarted as we couldn't lock down any kind of park. As we ventured further and further away from the town centre it became obvious that there was no use even trying, as we suspect multitudes had come to celebrate the new year. So we continued away again.

We came to Vila Do Conde which was simply because we spotted an awesome old ship in the harbour while driving across the bridge. So we decided to explore there for a while, enjoying the cathedral and aqueduct on the hill, but most time was spent in a smokey caf� on the internet.

Around the bend of the coast we spotted a cool beach-side fortress and like before we couldn’t resist and we stopped, that time for the whole night.
