We were traveling out towards Venice but it became obvious that we wouldn't reach it in time for any QT so we scanned the place for a good place to hang out for a while.
We went over a stone bridge and saw some people down on the river banks sun-baking, so we sought out how to get down and then spent the rest of the afternoon with the local skins. The water was icy fresh despite the vulgar heat of the sunshine and swims were very quick and vigorous.
