Determined to see more of the stunning coast of Scotland we continued east around all the coastal towns until we decided to go bush. Along the way we were forced to do a detour, which lead us once again into chaos.
In our winding we went though the most unexpectedly beautiful countryside, up a real steep incline to an epic lookout where we had lunch and watched a golden eagle fight the local rooks (FYI: The rooks owned the eagle).
At Craigievar Castle, a hyper romantic pink castle, we had an interesting time poking in and out of all the small rooms and nooks that ran up the 5 storey tower. It was one of the more "Scottish" castles we saw.
