Old North Wales, unlike New South Wales is filled with old history. We spent the night just outside of the town Cilgerran so that we could easily walk in and view their castle. Many horse riders passed our van as we camped and it was always stop and go when you needed an outdoors toilet break.

We spent the morning exploring the ruins, which had the most enormously thick walls ever! Perhaps 1.5M thick. We practically had the whole castle for ourselves and we became curious about a certain room, because it seemed so different from the others. The guy told us that it was where the dungeon was. Which made it clear why we had that ominous feeling in there.

Driving out again we decided to go to Fishguard (We imagined fish people with spears), A port town where we had planned to catch a ferry to Ireland. We had the intentions of just booking a ticket for a later date but as the prices didn't seem to matter, so we decided to just hop on board and go that instant!
