As Joel was tending to his morning urges, he noticed that there was something leaking from under the car. Yes, the petrol tank had a hole. After losing a quarter tank over night, freaked out, we headed back to Southhampton to find a plug. There was no fix but we've taped it up for the time being, seems to be holding too.

After the mornings affairs we went to a house & abbey at Mottisfont that used to be an old priory in the 1200’s that had been turned into a house in the 1500’s. One room in the house was stunning and had been painted by Whisler in the 1900’s, it was a tromp lieu. The day was freezing (our coldest yet), and with no real intention of meandering through the gardens we stumbled across a mosaic lady who taught us how to do it! Very fun and probably something we would like to get into when we get back home.

With the day not yet over we headed out to see the infamous Stonehenge. In warmer circumstances it would have been nicer to spend more time there, but with the icy winds and our soft Aussie skins, we walked around it as fast as possible and left.
