So we decided that a drive through of Brighton was all we needed. A very cultural city indeed, and such a beautiful waterfront. We spent the night in is a field looking onto gorgeous town (Arundel) with a huge church and castle on top of a hill. The morning was lazy as we decided over breakfast where we should head for the day.

Deciding, we left on to a town called Petworth. There, was the Petworth House which has been lived in by many an Earl over the centuries. It currently holds the largest art display owned by the National Trust. JMW Turner was a frequent guest here where many of his paintings have been kept. We loved checking out the house (not a house but a mansion) then a peaceful wonder through the gardens, tripping over the molehills, to top our afternoon off. Since joining the National Trust, which has sites EVERYWHERE we've decided that sticking to the country, avoiding all major cities, will be out best option. We get to take in all the history that there is to offer us with the ability to move around easier. There is more beauty in the countryside anyways!

Big Wig is doing so well. He’s keeping us safe and dry from the occasional rain! Life is sweet!
