Joe says:

Christmas Day

No turkey and ham this year, we have arranged to have a barbeque on the beach. Catriona is working so its up to me to organise everything for 10 people, my god I never realised how stressful this could be, spent all day christmas eve shopping for food and beer but eventully came up with the goods. Catriona had to work christmas morning so I started the preperations for the feast to come, our origional plan was to wheel the barbeque I had stored at Marcus house down to the beach n cook the barbie there but the weather had other ideas. It was lookin like rain so we decided to change the venue to our appartment and cook the barbie in the garage down stairs, one small hitch the barbie wouldnt fit in my car and Marcus house was bout a mile from ours so wheelin it was out of the question, so we decided to dismantle it. We managed to seperate it into 2 pieces n it barely fit in my boot and we had to go up a very steep hill to get to our appartment, I was confident it would stay but everyone else didnt share my optimism, but after a few prayers we hit off at snail pace. We were just on the large hill when some tosser behind me started blowing the horn and everyone was getting edgy but I kept drivin at bout 5mph I possibly even slowed down just to annoy him more and we eventully made it PHEW. By the time this great operation was over it was time to start so I donned the apron and with the flipper in one hand and a bottle in the other started cooking the meat feast. We started a drinking game called Kings and things were soon in full swing. In case your wondering about some of the pictures of people with a beer box on their head thats part of the game CLASSIC. We were well boosed by bout 9pm so we headed for a house party down the road, it all gets a bit blurry from there on but il let the pictures and videos talk for themselves. Some crack though

New Years

Wel its been over six months since we arrived in sydney and man time has seriously flown by, cant believe it, Just after celebrating the new year at Darling Point, it was savage. We decided to go early to get a good spot so we arrived at the park at 1pm with my new eskey (ausie name for a cooler box) in tow full to the neck of beer (better to be lookin at it than for it) suffice to say I didnt have much left by 2am. The view from where we were was savage could see the harbour bridge clearly and it wasnt too packed n there was a good group of us together, savage crack. Fireworks were pretty good, well worth all the hastle. The geetin home was not so easy, most people were abandoning anything they brought with them and of course me being my fathers son didnt want to leave anything good behind, I even managed to pick up 2 new eskeys which I assigned to the two girls. We left the park at bout 1am but didnt get home till bout 4.30am but luckily I had some bevies left to tide us through. Overall it was a savage nite and one of the best new years ive had.
