Today we got the van cleaned up and we finally got into the mountains!  The rain couldn't stop us from getting out and taking some pictures.  On my (Mary Ann) last day of work, Matthew gave me his toy camper-van Fillmore from the movie Cars.  So Fillmore came along with us and we took some pictures with him too.


We made friends with some Columbian Ground Squirrels, and saw some Elk/Caribou hanging out by the road in the Yoko National Park.   If someone is a ungulate expert please help us solve this argument on what we saw.


We had dinner in Jasper at the Old Spaghetti Factory.  Also in town we bought some binoculars!  Joe's pretty excited about them, and now we can see trees.. closer! haha  We did a light walk around the river coming from the canyon, but we'll save the big hike to Johnston Canyon for tomorrow.
