we arrived back to the UK on 5th October to rain for a couple of days and since then we have generally had good weather - cold but bright so have enjoyed some nice walks.
First thing we did when we got back was to visit the grandchild - she is very bonnie as McKinlay would say. The next thing was a visit to my much missed hairdresser! The third thing we did was to book our next trip which is to the US for about 5 weeks leaving in mid November, We're not hanging around.
It has been lovely meeting up with family and friends but we look forward to the next part of our trip. We regularly look at the photos of our grand tour and think very fondly of those we met along the way - and some of the great times we had with you all. ( enough slush for now).
