We arrived in Ensenada sometime around 10 am, the huge cranes they use for commercial shipping are visible before anything else. Ensenada is the third largest city in Baja, home to somewhere around 260,000 people. Its about 70 miles south of TJ. They're dredging the channel with huge ships as we come in and the port captain tells us to be careful. We stayed at the Baja Naval Marina, the place was nice, good amenities, finally got to clean up, and Fabian the guy who works there was super helpful and cool. First stop in Mexico, gotta go check in with immigration get all our paperwork and everything. We met this crusty sailor dude who was in the slip next to us, hilarious dude, every story he tells us involves whores in some form or another, guys been whorin it up all over the world, haha dirty bastard. We got a close look at Todos Santos island on the way out, wasn't really breaking, swell wasnt big enough. Kinda bummed wanted to see the big wave spot in all its glory. We tried to get the autopilot working, doing circles for no good fucking reason, thing sucks still wont work.
