We arrived back into Manilla after a short flight from Puerto at around 11am. We stashed our bags at the airport and went into Manilla to explore Intramuros, the old quarter.
With a very Hispanic feel to it, Intramuros is a walled part of the city that has churches, schools monasteries and cobbled plazas. We visited Fort Santiago and San Augustin church, the only building left fully intact after ww2. It's also the oldest church in the philippines built in 1587. There was a wedding going on so we had a nosy inside...
After some local food we headed to the airport for our flight to Saigon.
