Batad is a village built inside the rice terraces. They describe like being in an amphitheatre of rice terraces. We stayed here for two nights, Taking full advantages of the bars overlooking the terraces.

We did a one day trek through the rice terraces to another nearby village where we swam in a lake. Our guide, pedro wasnt the best. It was like doing a trek with your grandad. He had a new camera which he couldn't use so we ended up taking most of his pictures too! However it was a full on hike with some amazing scenery and we were VERY achey the next day.
