The long haul begins... thanks to Hollie's dad (Peter), we had a relaxing and much needed stopover in Bundaberg, home of Australian's rum factory Bundaberg Rum. Peter and his friends were excellent hosts and prepared a huge bbq for us equipped with fresh prawns, delicious steak, and of course some local brews. It was quite the party and Peter was quite the chef. They made us feel right at home and we appreciated the hot showers and warm beds, not to mention a toilet that was within walking distance! We also were able to take a tour of the Bundy Rum factory with Peter's son Jed where we tasted some fresh molasses and lots of free samples of rum.
