Well I made it to Spain no problems. I checked in to my hotel, and my room had a HUGE personal terrace. Only problems were that the ac didnīt work and the door to the balcony wouldnīt lock. The first I could deal with, but with my guitar and ipod, I couldnīt handle an unlocked door. I asked to move, they complied, and I ended up with a room that had ac and a smaller personal balcony. I donīt mind the small balcony. Actually, I kind of like it because I KNOW no one can get to it, and it still overlooks the sea. I have decided this will be my guitar playing place.
Lloret Del Mar is AWESOME! The beach is absolutely SPOTLESS as far as anything but sand goes. I guess they win awards every year. Also, the water is incredibly clear. I would say the beach is between 1 and 2 miles long, with cliffs on each side, and a castle on one end. I think loving the beach is ingrained into our family. As a result, this place ends up somewhere near the top of Europe. I canīt help it. I love sitting by the water with no agenda. Anyways I am really excited to just enjoy the next few days. Everywhere else we have been has been a mission. This week is a vacation.
