Julie:
First, it snowed last night. Not a lot, just a few inches, but enough to double our commute time to the airport. Cars were sliding everywhere. Mark very kindly drove us, and he didn't even charge us! Must be senility settling into his brain. Airport baggage check & security were smooth as silk.
Things got worse when we boarded the plane. We sat at the gate for an hour. We were worried since we had only a 57 minute layover at Atlanta. We were even more worried when it took another 30 minutes to de-ice & take off. The flight was quick. Not especially pleasant, but quick is good when you're 90 minutes late.We disembarked at 1050, exactly the time our Cancun flight was due to depart.
