Where I stayed
After a slightly delayed start to our trip we arrived in Knoxville after about 8 hours driving through Virginia and Tennessee. Our Hotel for the evening was the Holiday Inn Strawberry Plains (just outside Knoxville) was excellent. They accept pets for a small charge and the breakfast on offer was great just what we needed for another day in the car.
