You speak Uzbek now?  So what.  I SPEAK ACRONYM.

To truly do this blog justice and fully explore the meaning of "going nowhere," where better to start than at a UN meeting?

Therefore, I will soon be embarking-- purely for the sake of investigative journalism-- and in preparation I have been doing a fair bit of reading.  Here are the acronyms encountered in just one 40 page backgrounder (one of the more readable ones at that):

UNFCCC
TDERM
TDERU
COP/MOP
GHG
IPCC
SRES
LUCF
CAIT
QERLO
LULUCF
LUC
PNG
EV
IFI
INPE
HCV
CBD
HCVF
KP
MPMF
ODS
CFRN
REDD
ADCF
GEF
ODA.

TTFN,
-MEG

PS- A disclaimer: Juan Pa may actually find this entry fascinating.  That clearly does not count.
PPS- Michelle has suggested she may encounter even more acronyms in her average day than I do.  All I have to say is: bring it, Michelle.  You're on.
PPPS- "Acronymically" is a real live adverb.  No joke.
