I said good-bye to James in the morning and walked down to the hostel to check my emails. I�m still trying to make contact with my host, Tabitha, in Limoux, France. I received two emails, which I must quote, in the interest of journalistic integrity.

Here is the response I received when I asked her about trains from the nearest town (Carcassone) to her home town of Limoux....

"there are trains and buses from carcassonne to limoux, would have come to pick you up but the car got hit by a truck last week so no car!!

the last train i think is round 7pm and the bus and trains go to the train sation in limoux from the train station in carcassonne
hope to see you soon"

"shit and I just realised you said the 17th i don't get back from lodon till the 18th wich is when i have another wwoofer arriving, bit disorganised at the mo the house caught fire last week!!!car you delay one day?

I don�t think that "underground tourism" is high on her priority list. Guess we�ll have to wait and see. Catching the bus tonight.
