I was going to change our reservation...but Katie had left her purse at this hotel when we stayed here at the beginning of the trip. I just thought it would be easier. The room was still clean...a room away from that back exit, but the desk was broken. They had been holding Katie's purse since we called from Disney. All of the money was miraculously still in there.

We ate dinner at a place called Brunet's...the food was spicy, but the service...well, when I asked our waiter what his favorite thing to eat was he replied, "The fettucini." I'm pretty sure that when a group as touristy looking as we were sits down in a restaurant supposedly well-known for its Cajun fare we do not want our waiter to suggest Italian!

The food was good...very spicy and the blackened shrimp was excellent!
