Hello all,
This is one of the saddest entries I will ever post...because it is the last one.  After 98 days in Rome, I am actually leaving for the States.  This has been the best experience of my life.  I am truly the luckiest person alive for having been given the opportunity to study in Rome, Italy for 3 months.  I have traveled all across Italy from Florence, to Barletta, to Urbino, to Venice, and even to Barcelona, Spain.  I have had more soia-ccinos and ciambellas than I can remember and have eaten the most delicious foods.  I've made amazing new friends and memories I will cherish forever.  I had three visitors (my mom, grandma, and Eric) that made this trip even more amazing than I could have imagined.  And I could not have done this without help from my mom and dad, so thank you so much... this was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had and I am so grateful.

After a week of finals and goodbye dinners, with Father John for his birthday, Dr. Borghese, Professor Boyd, and Monica and her husband Fabio, it is actually time to leave.  We spent thursday walking around Rome doing some last minute shopping and sight seeing as well as pastry and gelato eating. It is all so incredibly sad.

Tomorrow morning, May 2, 2014 we will be having our last ciambellas, our last gelatos, and our last italian caffeine beverages.  I will pack my bag into the shuttle, and say goodbye to my too m and Villino Default.  I'll be driving to Fiumicino Aeroporto and hopping on a plane first to London's Heathrow Airport, and then a plane heading for Boston, Massachusetts.  There we will all tearfully say goodbye to each other.  But then I will find my dad and Eric there to greet me and take me home, where those sad tears will turn into happy ones.  Yes, I'm devastated to leave, but I've also missed home and am happy to go back to see everyone I love.  And I will forever be able to say... I have lived in Italy.

Ciao Roma,
Ciao to everyone who has been reading my blog!
Graziemille.
