This morning once we left the University of Urbino, some took the train back to Rome, but I and a few others drove back with Professor Bonanno.  It was a four hour drive which we broke up first with a lunch stop.  We then stopped by a river that was a beautiful blue to explore for a little whileWe thren drove to a small town in the mountains called Todi.

To get to Todi, you have to take an elevator-like lift from the ground up the mountain.  Todi is very small and very medieval.  We explored the cobblestone streets and found a gelato shop where we stooped and ate in front of a fountain.  We then walked around for an hour exploring the ancient streets before sitting on the steps of a church taking in the sun for a nice, long while.  We then found a playground and, like the adults we are, stated swinging on the swings and talking through the flower telephones.  We were having a blast but soon had to leave for Rome.  It was a beautiful and fun two hour stop on our road trip back to Rome.

This weekend was full of traveling, mountains, and beautiful views.
