The only reason I have put these two together is because we were starving and thirsty on our return from the walk.

Not much to say here except, this is a nice kitchen. It is well equipped and certainly a joy for someone to work in. There are three skylights in the ceiling so it is very bright. The equipment is overload. There is the gas stove top and oven, but also a microwave and some sort of fancy quick oven. I do not know how to use those two things. A dishwasher is available and also a fancy dancy coffee espresso machine.  Thank goodness Tony is now drinking tea because after many attempts at trying to figure the coffee machine out, we are scuppered. Still working on it though. Tony is determined.

There are pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, wine glasses for inside and out. We feel spoiled. It is well equipped. One lonely red wine glass though.....lots of linens but no washcloths. Europeans do not use washcloths we have discovered, hand towels fill  the need I guess. Dish towels yes, but few dishcloths. Enough, but at home we again are spoiled. There is a washer and dryer, yet to be used but will be soon enough. That is always a challenge with regard to instructions.....

As I said we had a great walk, tired on our return, Tony has a very sore shoulder (six months at least) and I am having trouble with my hip. We did well though and do not want to complain.

We hope everyone is well and that you are beginning to feel spring may be on the horizon. We are day tripping tomorrow.

take care,

Janie

We love the house. I'm not sure how you would be able to pick your room to sleep in. I guess if we came we could to lottery. Keep up the blogs makes my morning coffee more enjoyable

Aunt Ethel's yes! How about that den and upstairs hallway to grandma Elliot's and her! Your upstairs reminded me of that for sure!
