The flight home was not bad, not bad at all, eight hours, but we were going in the right direction, home. A full plane, lots of babies, lots of chatter in many languages! We realized that our plane was certainly a plane full of beginnings.....when, we arrived at the airport! We were all met at the top of a flight of stairs, before baggage by customs. We wondered why but then it became very clear, immigration! Young families, scared families, foreign languages, new beginnings....they were taken aside, luggage gathered and moved to an office, the young kids were on an adventure, but the parents, I can not imagine what they were feeling, their hopes, their dreams coming true! Think about the planning to get where they were today!

I felt so fortunate, no matter where you travel there is no place like home, we left a beautiful country to come home. They have left their homes for a beautiful country! I was happy for them because I knew on the other side of that room there was family waiting for them with a warm coat and boots! A little cool when we landed!

We had three hours to put in before our flight to North Bay, but we were close, so close to our own bed! In the lounge Tony was very happy to get his hands on a Globe! He read every word.
When we got on the seven o'clock to North Bay we were two of nine people, a light load, a great flight and a great sight was frozen Lake Nipissing, it will melt. BUT the best sight was Jessica in the airport waiting to take us home.

A great catch up, a quick visit and a hug and a kiss until tomorrow when we will meet for dinner! Glad to be home,

Take care,

Janie
