Well noon is the time we wake up after a solid 8 1/2 hours sleep. Honestly, we look out the window, it is lovely but we wonder how the hell we got up here. Future reference to all, do not arrive and follow someone to your destination in the dark! We got organized and headed out for food, wine and the opportunity to get our bearings!

It took Tony and I an hour to figure out all of the keys before we headed down to the city! You know of course we took every wrong turn and proceeded to encounter the following the rest of the day -

A wrong turn that resulted in a big hill situation that required reverse, the car would not move backwards, what to do, we asked a local to reverse for us so that we would not smash into a parked car in front of us, success ! We asked "how?", he replied "simply". Off we went to a vacated parking lot with a hill to practice...aha, there is a special feature for reverse while emergency brake is on!

The next wrong turn took us through the downtown, "centro", very busy, very narrow and we pulled in mirrors so we would not scrape the buildings.

Groceries, no problem .... Bought a phone so we would not feel stranded again, We had Sebastiens phone number after all! Time to go home. Where the hell is that? If we had made the correct turns coming down, we would know. Not a chance...and you know Tony and I of course do not have the same idea of what transpired the night before! I suggest we phone Sebastien, but Tony would like to keep trying...2 hours pass by and we still have no clue. We are so wound up at this point , Tony finally calls Sebastien, who speaks Spanish, Tony starts Italian, and again you know what I am doing! Sebastien cannot come because he is in Malaga so we figured out we would go to the police station and have them direct us through Sebastien. I am now getting involved with pen and paper, making Tony ask for directions, and maps are drawn! Art is the universal language!!!! We make it home, oh so very happy! After many drinks we prepare lovely veal chops for the BBQ, WHAT no matches, geez, where is the garlic, geez again and the stupid black pepper we bought were peppercorns, and we have no grinder. Smashing those peppercorns to smithereens, finally got rid of the tension of the day! !!! Rewind, rethink and drink some more. A crazy day but we found our home!!!

Night, night
