✈Our trip has been uneventful so far except for an unexpected detour or two! We found out in Toronto that we would be landing at Heathrow, then transported to Gatwick Airport so after a very pleasant flight, in surprisingly spacious surroundings we had a mini highway tour via Brighton. Looked like we were on the Don Valley Parkway except for some very woolly sheep!

At check in at Gatwick we found out British Airways will not be able to land in Malaga due to an Iberian Airways Strike so we are being diverted to another airport and bussed to Malaga. Oh the joys of travelling. We have been in a couple of lovely lounges though! Wi-Fi, food and drink. We both managed to close our eyes for a couple of hours, had to wake up Tony though as he was heading for deep snore land. He is reading all the newspapers en route and we are happy to report that the Queen is doing well this morning, as you probably heard she has a virus, but does not want a fuss!

Small world, we met the Greg's, old home neighbours of Mom and Dad's. Stuart recognized me when I tapped him on the shoulder, scared the day lights out of him, but he laughed. I felt bad...They are off to Birmingham, via Amsterdam, which we all thought was strange. We wonder who we will see next?

We were a bit concerned with regard to our understanding Spanish - we should have thought about London Airport! Some voices are clear and lilting, others, well you just can't understand a word! Fast, furious and guttural!

We will arrive at our villa around 10:00 tonight, looking forward to a good nights sleep, then embracing the day in our new digs, more later,

With love,

Janie

Wow! Already enjoying the locals ( sheep and Londoners) and meeting old neighbours! Laurie and i were just talking about the Gregs on the weekend. The centre of the universe is what we call North Bay. Hope your flights continue to be safe.
Happy to hear The Queen is home. Great to know you prevented the lounge passengers from evacuating due to Tony's snore mode!
