Hey guys,
A lot has happened these last couple days here is Manila. We have been doing a lot of work with Dave and Lorna and the future vision of WithinReachGlobal. In a nutshell WRG is no longer a small organization focused solely on unreached people groups in China. This is still a huge part of WRG, and always will be, but much more is being added to the plate.
WRG is transforming into a Global missions hub. Bringing partners, organizations, missionaries, and contacts all to one strategically organized and effective place. Currently they have connections in China. Myanmar, Burma, Liberia, USA, Mexico, and a few others. Laura and I are working with some of the logistical challenges and organization of this transfer. We met with a website designer and good friend today to discuss the new website design (the backbone of the organization), and tomorrow morning we are meeting with Rich, a big partner and good friend of Dave's to discuss the vision some more. Rich's ministry is currently doing some big events in Cebu (central Philippines) and he is briefly in town before heading out to speak at these events.
Today we also filed for an extension on our visas, so we don't get kicked out before March 22nd. The process was nice and simple, but cost about $100 each. :(
After our meeting tomorrow we are heading out of town for a day or two to Tagatay. So I will update more when we return.
