Ok, so I am back again...this time nice and showered and typing away on my way down to Singapore. Oh before I forget....can you believe my flight got diverted again! This time it wasn't in the middle of no-where, we got sent to Nagoya, almost 330km from Tokyo! I was kind of pissed about that, I mean think about it, why would you choose your alternate airport to be almost an hour flight away? The airport was so far away that Kyoto would have been a closer tourist sight than Tokyo and to make things worse, 4 fire trucks where waiting for us when we landed. "Safety procedures" said our captain, I think we barely made it to the runway... So that meant that my nice 12 hour and 55 minute flight turned into a 16 hour flight....once I got to Narita that Admirals Club shower came in like a charm.
I should complain to American Airlines about the distance of the alternate airport and not to mention the mean Japanese flight attendant the whole way there (sorry Shelly!) but they made it up with the new Admirals Club in Narita airport. You should see that, the showers look like a Spa and the service....oh the service. The US clubs would only dream to have a service like that, sandwiches, cookies, apples, sushi, all kinds of chips, fruit cups, yogurt, and the people amazingly nice. I love the little bow everyone gives you when they finish talking to you, it definitely gets on your good side.
The plane to Singapore is a 747-400, my seat is 77 K, I didn't know the where so many rows on this aircraft. But don't let the 77 mislead you, I am not at the end of the plane packed like a sardine with Takao Adachi and Feng Chui. I am actually on the second floor of the plane, because in JAL (Japan Airlines) economy extends to the second floor...the view from up here is awesome. So not only is the view amazing but this plane is also equipped with 2 cameras, one in front of the plane and the other one underneath it. Which means you can see whats coming up in front and what you are flying over by simply selecting the channel on your little flat screen tv, Cool eh?
Ill be getting into Singapore at around 12 Am...the taxi ride to NUS (National University of Singapore) is supposed to be a 45 minute ride, well that's what the flight attendant said. Very nice girl, but I bet she must at least 30, given that all of these guys look so young when they are so old.
All right everybody, ill be signing off now... got to get some sleep before I get to Singapore. Time difference with the East Coast is suppose to be about 13 hours...will see how the Jet Lag treats me. (Felix, I got some awesome pictures of Mt. Fuji when leaving Japan, ill put them up) (Juxa, you really got to get over here, specially after you learn Japanese, you are in for one heck of a treat)

Buenas Noches,
J.
