I left Berlin and was on the highway to Dresden, Germany and then over to Prague. About 3 hours outside of Prague on the Germany side I got into the mountains. These were tiny little roads that zigged and zagged along the rivers and mountains. Tiny towns with cute little houses were strung along the route. It was very similar to some of the areas in Colorado but with a very unique German touch. I was having so much fun that when I saw a sign for camping, I knew right away that was where I would be sleeping. I pulled in and immediately came upon this gorgeous lake with campsites and walking trails surrounding it. I set up camp next to a lady with her bike and tent. She spoke some English and offered me some tea and cookies. It was very interesting to chat with her and the other two families (one German lady, a Swedish family, and a Finland family) because the only way we could all speak was through using a common language, that of English. We spent the evening in this gorgeous mountain side drinking Jeiger and discussing a variety of topics.
I packed up and had one last cup of tea with the German lady and headed to Prague. From the moment I arrived at the Hostel, a guy from Texas and I spent the whole day and evening touring the amazing town of Prague. It is a unbelievable place. We met two local Czechs that were our age and which could speak ok English. We learned a lot about the Czech Republic and was offered to go with them to the local's evening hangout. We spent the evening in the huge beer garden that was tucked into this nice city park. Their sport of choice...Foos Ball!! This huge garden with a huge screen projection screen with Czech music tv and a huge bar and the main attraction..the 6 professional foos ball tables. My friend and I took the locals on in a game and scored 1 out of 15 (all by accident). These guys are serious about their foos ball. It was a wonderful way to cap of a great day.
I headed the next day back to Germany to spent a few days with Chris and Ole (German friends of the family).

Hi Jason,
Glad your bike's holding up well. Good on you for nursing it along. Hope you don't have too many dramas with it and make it back to London. Gimme a shout when you get here.
