Where I stayed
Today was a cold and somewhat rainy day. We did a walking tour in the morning, which was a great way to see the city. After that, we headed out of the city to the convention center to claim our running bibs for the next day's race.
We had lunch in a wonderful restaurant, Magnolias.
One of the highlights of the day was going to see a show "The Sound of Charleston". It was fabulous! It was held in a churce and consisted of the history of music in Charleston, from classical piano to banjo/Civil War songs to Gospel Singing. By the end of the evening, the entire audience was clapping their hands and singing along. Highly recommended for any Charleston visitors!
Finally, we ended our day with a trip to High Cotton - "low country food" - also excellent!
