OK, Delta sucks. Especially, after flying Continental to Spain, on a plane that had the little individual TVs in the seats with movies, games, TV shows and more. In retrospect though, I was an incredible trip and awesome to see Heather. I can't believe I'm going to have her home in just 7 short weeks. Now off to find a place to live and make more money!
My thoughts on Korea: I don't know how Heather survived there for a year. Her being able to cook was probably a big part of it, but I would've lost about 50 pounds if I was there that long. If I had to eat Korean food everyday I would die of starvation within a month. The people there are nice enough, but the ajuma's (grandmas) have an overdeveloped sense of self worth and need to be taken down a peg or two. Billboards and signs in Korea (just like in Thailand and most Asian countries) can provide hours of entertainment due to mistranslations, misspellings, and other hilarity. You would think with all of the English teachers there they would have a native speaker proofread some of their stuff, but apparently that would make too much sense. Korea, is slightly less bass akward than Thailand, but that doesn't mean some of the shit they do isn't mind boggling. All in all a good trip, but I don't really see any reason to ever go back to Korea unless Heather is there to visit.
