. Also one of my highlights was seeing a freestyle footballer showing off his skills on a little square by the side of the road. He was good! Best tricks I have ever seen! We are watching a Euro match right now between Germany and Portugal in German. There are tons of Germans staying at our hostel so it is quite loud here at the moment. I keep hearing a German word that starts with an "sh" sound that sounds an aweful lot like a certain English word I know hehe.
We are on our second full day of our four day/five night stay in Budapest. This city is absolutely stunning! In contrast to the peaceful mountain cities and towns we visited in Romania, Budapest is very multi-cultural and has a lively city vibe. Our hostel is great! We arrived here on it's opening night and so everything is extremely clean. The hostel is only a ten minute walk from the Danube river, which separates Buda from Pest, and the Chain Bridge, the most well known bridge in Hungary. We have walked for about two days straight and we still have things we want to see. One thing we have discovered in the various places we have been so far is free city tours. This is a great way to see cities and get some info about them too. On our tour we saw the Buda Royal Palace, castle hill and a changing of the Hungarian guard on top of the hill to name a few. Then we went off on our own and hiked to the citadel which gives the best view of Budapest. On our way back from that we stopped to see the cave church, which is a Roman Catholic church built into the side of a rocky hill
