Day 14
We stuffed ourselves on a continental yet gourmet and freshly baked breakfast at Middle Beach Lodge in Tofino.
Then we drove to Ucluelet and walked the "Wild Pacific Trail" and walked around town.
Then we drove to Nanaimo.
We had a reservation to take the ferry from Nanaimo to Vancouver on Saturday at 8 AM so we had looked for a place to stay in Nanaimo.
We could only fine expensive 2 star motels.
Since that violated Rule Number One (only camp or stay at 3 star or better hotels), we camped.
Turns out that the rule needs a modification.
After laying awake much of the warm night because we have sleeping bags designed for cold mountain weather and because people were partying all night long, we decided it was not a good idea to camp next to lakes where people water ski.
Thus evolved the Corollary to Rule Number One: only camp in the mountains or stay at 3 star or better hotels.
