Got up this morning and made our way to the airport for our flight to Cairns. Flew from Adelaide to Melbourne, and then Melbourne to Cairns. Did I already mention that I don't really like flying? Although I find the airports here real efficient, you do not wait around at all.
Got to our little apartment in Cairns, shortly after 4:00p.m. great little place, with a little of a hacienda feel to it. Pretty warm out so quickly unpacked and went for a swim, while Alan went to do some groceries.
Just going to take it easy tonight, lasagna is in the oven. Need to get to bed early, we leave early tomorrow morning for the Great Barrier Reef.
