Where I stayed
My parents' place
Hi everyone,
I started this blog because a bunch of people asked me to keep them updated about my travels.. So here you go!
Currently, I'm still in Holland, starting to plan my trip to Israel. As many of you know, I am planning on going to a kibbutz for a few months. After my initial enthusiasm it has turned out it's a bit harder than I expected. The most recent email I got from the local Kibbutz Program Center told me that there's a waiting list of 15-20 people. But I'm determined to go, and if this option doesn't work out I'll figure out something else. I've also been looking up other volunteering options, so I can resort to that as well.
Over the past few weeks I've been doing a bit of traveling already.. I went to England with my Dad for a weekend with his sailboat. A pretty long crossing (about 25 hours), but luckily we had decently warm weather and the wind wasn't too crazy. We also sailed to Terschelling (one of the islands just North of mainland Holland) and stayed there for a week-long theater & music festival. Let's see if I can upload some pictures...
Anyway, the way it looks now is that I'll be going to Israel around July 12th (less than two weeks!). I'll keep you guys up to date!
