Brilliant directions led me right to number 2 in Croydon where MegsyMoo and LittleBig Al where waiting!
I haven't seen Meaghan in probably eight years or so and it was great to see her! She is just the same as I remember her! But with more years to her wisdom!
Her and Steve and both proud parents of Aldo who, I must say, is an adorable little scalliwag! It's been great hanging out here at the house in such a homely, loving environment! I'm so fascinated at watching how LittleBig Al is constantly learning and using his little brain... I've been working with bigger versions and it's very interesting seeing the similarities and differences of a ten month old compared to a fifteen and eighteen year old... plus I've been reading alot about Evolution and the social link and similarities of humans and chimpanzees... churn this all together in my brain and you basically get, "babies, teenages, adults, animals, monkeys... as much as we try and classify things into their own separate groups, everything is infinately and intricately linked to a common thing... life" But that's a thought from long ago... it's just being reinforced...
So, anyway, back to the story...
Last night I saw Marty for the first time in about ten years and Coll and Ant came over and we had something of a shindig! A cousins reunion of sorts! Sure we were missing alot, but it's not often that four cousins representing the MacMethas are together under the same roof!
Me and Megs had made yoyos, Martin bought Slivovitz, chubbay and cheese, Ant and Colly had pizzas and we whacked a lasagne in the oven! Copious amounts of food was enjoyed and alcohol flowed freely and a merry MacMetha time was had by all!
We finished the night on a high with our shot glasses held high and threw back a shot of Slivovitz after a harmonious shout of, "Chivali!"
