After passing in and out of consciousness on the plane I finally touched down in Gatwick... one of the least pretty international airports I have visited.
I was a little nervous... there was, as you will most likely be aware, a very beautiful girl who was to meet me.
It took the most part of an hour to get through all beaureucratic stuff and when I walked out through the gate I couldn't find anyone. So I went to brush my teeth in the nearby bathrooms... you can't very well expect to kiss a supermodel with... questionable breath!
I stepped out and me and Pixie bumped into each other! ...lots of the aforementioned kissing ensued... (don't travel without a toothbrush handy!)
Winchester is a great little city steeped in history. There was a giant brass band playing in the highstreet and with the smells of cornish pasties in the air, along with all the busy activity in the shops, the place oozed of festive cheer.
On Christmas morning I found that I had a stocking which was full of presents! Opening presents on Christmas morning (as opposed to Christmas Eve as normal in my family) was not as weird as I thought. We all opened things together and it was all very exciting...
The whole day was crazy as I met Grandparents, cousins, aunties, uncles and more... all opening and devouring presents... craziness. I fell asleep at 4:30 and didn't wake up until the next day!
