Well, ape really. No joke! I was parking my bike and heading to the genkan (entrance) of the school when I saw this thing that I thought was a dog with silver/gray hair. The thing did a back flip, leaping in the air, swinging on some wiring and headed up to the roof. Scared the crap out of me. So that was my morning wake up call.

This week, my 3rd year students made these hard-boiled chick, egg, things. They turned out pretty good. After the third time of me yelling at them, they got the hint and started working. I threw in some pictures to show you what I mean. All in all, it was fun.

I'm also throwing in pictures of the going away and welcoming party for all the teachers at Yokkaichi. This thing cost 70 bucks to attend but it was lavish, pretty, and the food was good, but I can't can't get past the feeling that I just spent money on one meal that I could have gotten 2 weeks of groceries on

. Oh well, shou ga nai.

I'm hoping to go see Yoshi sometime in this 5 day period of Golden Week. I gotta take him to Nipponbashi and see if I can't get him to geek out a little. Here's hoping.

Probably gonna head either to Nagoya or Yokkaichi today to get my hands on another model or two. Probably some of the originals. After watching Gundam 0079, I gotta say; I love the mobile suits, but I absolutely HATE half the characters. Amuro is a whiny little brat when he has little right to be, Kai is just a total prick (though he has the coolest mobile suit.), Hayato... well hes ok, but he ends up with Frowbo. That just doesn't click in my head... Char is pretty interesting, but the moment he changes his focus from getting revenge on the Zabi family and begins Yaoi obsession over Amuro, he stops being interesting. Yeah by the way, Lalah and Amuro together just seems freakin' weird...
