Land Ho - Good Morning - As I write this we are almost to our next port of Nassau, Bahamas. We survived the Atlantic crossing - we even got a certificate!! From what everyone is saying - it was one of the best crossings ever - the Captain said that it was his best ever and the crew - who have made many crossings over the years say also that it was the best they had ever encountered. We only had one day/night that the seas were a bit rough - however - every day it was possible to be outside on the decks. The weather was beautiful - high 70's - low 80's during the daytime, beautiful sunsets and then mild in the evenings - we apparently avoided a couple of weather fronts - so with the exception of the one day/night - it was perfect.

We have been spending as much time with Chepe and Maria as possible - they are both busy getting ready to go back home though - Chepe has to prepare to send his things to the next ship - Maria has a lot to pack and Chepe has been quite busy with patients. A lot of people have coughs - bronchitis - sinus problems.

We attended some classes and lectures during the day - read a lot - walked on deck a lot - spent some time with new friends. Went to shows most evenings and always sat with our tablemates. We had great conversations at dinner and were usually the last to leave the dining room each evening.

You will see photos of the Chocolate buffet! What do you think of that Will? Mom/Dad? McTaggart? We only went to take photos!! Do you believe that one? It was at 11:30 one night - we actually didn't know about it until we were leaving dinner and our waiter mentioned it to us - so we hung out with Jeanne and Monroe in the casino and then we were the first ones back in the dining room - and the last ones to leave - we only went through the line once though - the rest of the time we were talking.

We have yet to have the famous Midnight Buffet Gala. Must be coming and I guess they give you the first 30 minutes to take photos - so we are looking forward to seeing that.

Until tomorrow.....

P.S. If you go back to Tenerife - I posted a few photos from our day there.

How big a plate do you get??? I would need a big one. I just returned from my root canal and I deserve one of each thing to eat.

Dad wants to know where the sunrise pictures are???

Floating Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory!
Hello from Colorado. We have been working 11 days of early election and both have colds! Ugh! We are getting caught up on your trip.

Goodness, the chocolate is beautifully presented and a delight to eat, I'm sure. Such creativity.

The sunsets are breathtaking. Right away we recognized the middle of the Atlantic Ocean!!!!

What a fabulous month you two have had. Your blogs are so interesting and informative. Thanks.
