We didn't have much time to rest up after our two days in St Petersburg but we also only had one more Port of Call before two days of sailing back to England.  I think they may have saved one of the best for last.  Tallinn, Estonia is beyond charming.  This medieval city along the Gulf of Finland had us wishing for more time.

As we passed through one of the arches we caught a glimpse of another arch that made us realize that perhaps it wasn't so medieval after all...but the streets were charming and a good test for my ankle.  We followed the wall around the city up to the St. Olafs church, which at one time had the tallest church spire in all of Scandinavia.  We saw the Fat Margaret Tower and then walked down Pikk Street and enjoyed some souvenir shopping of typical handicrafts.

The Central Square and City Hall was so charming with the cute dragon water spouts and the quaint outdoor cafes.

Up, up, up to the Alexander Nevsky Russian Cathedral where some more replicas of Russian Icons were purchased from the gift shop.

Basically the day was spent walking around and enjoying the warm weather and sunshine.  Also - the fact that we were one of two cruise ships that were in port - apparently there were times when there could be up to six or seven ships and the streets were impassable.

We used up the rest of our Krooni at a local supermarket and by then it was time to head back to the ship.
