Today was our most exciting or nerve-racking day, depending on one's perspective. We reached Glendive for lunch, then headed north to Circle and U.S. 2. At Circle, Jim suggested we take the back roads to Ft. Peck. In short, we got lost. By the time we got back to the highway, we were very low on gas, and eventually ran out in the vicinity of Ft. Peck Dam. We were near a gas station and got a ride and managed to reach Havre for the night. I was glad to see this day end!
