Today was Carol's last day with us, and we went into Chicago. Ted Sevier told us about the Vatican exhibit at the Art Institute and we were able to get tickets. We saw art treasures from Greek and Roman times up to the present. It was a remarkable collection of religious and secular work. We then went to the top of the Sears Tower for a view of smoggy Chicago. Leaving downtown, we drove to Carol's old neighborhood before taking her to the airport and having dinner before seeing her off. Jim and I then returned to the Seviers for our last evening in the Chicago area.
