Friday 15 - Picked up Win and Thatch from airport and drove directly up Col de Tourmaulet - incredibly steep, the riders had gone up there the day before on the tour. 2115m above sea level from 300m above sea level. That was done in 17km!  

Then headed into the town of Lourdes where we found a spot to watch the last 500m of the stage. (Jimi and I were standing on a large windowsill to get the best view). 

Most seen bikes are.............TREKS!!!!!!!!

Saturday 16 - headed towards Montpellier - got caught in the motorcade with all the sponsored vehicles! Got into Montpellier and couldn't find a campsite with any space, but eventually found a great one where we are now, 15km out of the town. 

The plan for tomorrow is to head into the town early and get a great position in order to see them finish in Montpellier.
