Only an hour and a half by train to Trivandrum (capital of Kerela) and a further 30mins rickshaw ride took us to another beach resort - Kovallam.  This is apparently a favourite with package holidays and the busiest beach resort in Kerela.  Fortunately we came out of season so had the whole beach to ourselves!

A kick back for a further 3 days before heading to the southern most tip of India.
