I moved to Seattle in June 1984. Man! There have been some changes in this city since then! Unfortunately I have done a poor job of documenting those changes. Instead what I have to show are simply some random photos which I hope convey some small portion of the beauty of this area. I hope to give the viewer an idea of why, even though I simply love to travel and explore, I am always excited to look out the aircraft's windows to see "home" come into view.

Seattle is a very cosmopolitan city with; lots of public art and beautiful parks, world class music, theater, and comedy venues, great dinning, and REALLY BAD sports teams (but still fun to watch). There are at least 23 colleges here and Seattle is ranked as the second most literate population in the USA.
We are uniquely blessed with outdoor recreation opportunities as well

. Within an a couple hours drive from downtown are snow skiing, mountain climbing, deep sea fishing, hiking, and lots of other cool things.

It is hard to keep the number of photos included here down to a manageable number and still give a feel for the city. But I have tried. 

However, I think to really get a feel for how appealing Seattle is you will need to look at my other Washington State blog entries (to be added later :-) )

can you try to post a pictures of the place where edward and bella took some shoots for "TWILIGHT" movie. I believed they did that film is seattle. hehehe
