Day 34
so we took a bus tour out to lagos and sagres. It was about a 45 minute drive to Lagos, we headed into town where we shopped and had lunch. Then we went to the cliffs, where there are some of the most impressive rock formations in all of Portugal. Then we were back on the bus, where we drove to Sagres, taking a quick tour of the town in. we then headed out to the most southern point of Europe, it used to be thought of as the end of the world. Tried some traditional Portugal candy - chocolate, almond and fig - hated it, tasted like it was full of sand. Then we just headed back to the hotel. That evening we went back into Albuferia for dinner, our taxi driver was nice enough to show us where the hidden taxi stand was, so we didn't have to wait in line to get a taxi back at the end of the night. I will definitely go back to Portugal and do the west coast, less touristy, with the most amazing countryside.
