Please sir, hand me a caipirhinia.

I ended up getting the Brazilian visa aok, and crossing the border was too easy, why do other countries make it so hard?

Foz, although having a cool name, is not the most excting of towns. Definitely not as nice as the Argentinian falls town.

But the falls are GREAT. You have got to se both sides (although you might be serioulsy over waterfall pictures!).
The overall view was great, seeing the falls from the Brazilian side, there isn~t as much development for tourists, just one path along all the falls, but the views were as spectacular, moreso in some respects as you could ses falls you can~t from Argentina, just amazing, and you can stand right in the spray from a few falls, and really feel the power. The buses to the path from the entrance are cute as, painted in all the local species.

We also went to a bird park - Parque de Aves, which was cool, you can see all the local birds properly (and they are AMAZING! ) and we have pictures of them we could never get on tours or just walking around. ALso we could see the conservation status opf many species, so when we saw them at he Pantanal we knew they were seriously rare and we were really lucky to see them.

Our initial thoughts on Brazil are that it~s expensive compared to Argentina (as everyone told us!) The accomodation is extortionate, but the food is cheap and good.

Next we~re on an overnight bus to the Pantanal - with no cama =( this will be a challenge, we~ve become used to the Argentinian comfort buses!
