It did start badly, with an overnight (wee smelling) bus, woken rudely with 1 minute to change buses, losing our Peru immigration slips etc. But we made it to Copacobana, on Sophīs advice, and itīs really really nice here. Much slower pace, the sun is out and we have the most expensive room in town for the special occassion, with lake views that are reminding us of what the ocean looks like (really good that is).
We missioned today Isla De Sol, and hiked along it for 4 hours, which was great, loads of donkeys, and funnily enough, Ļsunshine, as this was the Inca birthp`lace of the sun. I am sunburnt again, itīs ridiculous
Also I had a bit of hissyfit about the constant altitude, I know weīre in the Andes but IĻm over it! I havenīt taken my jumper off in 5 months. this trip was supposed to be the endless summer, not winter! So we are going to pop down to the saltflats in Bolivia as they look cool and we like Bolivia and canīt not give it our full attenrion, then up to Ecuador, beaches, Galapogos, rainforest, sun, lovely. See you there =)
