The French Guy told me about a website which is www.wheresgeorge.com . It’s basically a website where you can register the number on your paper money and if someone else have done it before then you can see where your bill has been. It’s funny, so I gave it a try, but so far I have not any funny stories about it. But people can describe in what condition it has been and where people have got them. Weird isn’t it? It’s something you can do on a rainy boring day!

In the evening I headed to Manhattan again. I took Bus 123 to Port Authority, ran into Melissa again. She lives a few houses down this street and I met her on Saturday in the bus. It took forever to get into Manhattan since they increased the security at the Lincoln tunnel before coming
into Manhattan. I left the bus a little before Port Authority and decided to walk to Penn station on 34th street to get to the A/C train there and transfer on ‘West 4th’ to and then to ‘Broadway Lafayette’ to end up at ‘Astor Place’. From here I walked towards 1st avenue and 6th street. I withdraw some money before I was supposed to meet Sammy at the corner. I let it up to him to decided where we’d go and he decided to take me to Milon. As you can see on the pictures there are four windows full of lights, which are all restaurants. We went to the one on the top and left. I was amazed but one of my first thoughts was the electricity bill and the shortage on when the lights were broken. But it was an amazing and memorable restaurant. We had Indian food and it was good. He brought two bottles of red wine (if the restaurant has no liquor selling permit, you’re allowed to bring your own bottle) Normally I don’t drink red wine, but hey, you have to be nice in return J The whole evening you feel like you’re in this Bollywood movie with the music. Because they have a treat for birthday people we decide that today is my birthday. So after dinner, the lights went down a little and they put on a happy birthday song in Bollywood style and all the people that work there start clapping and all the other guests joined them too. It was funny! They brought some ice-cream with a candle in it. After that we went with a taxi (my first time) to Café Wha? There was live music going on there. But I only was there for 45 minutes. We met two other couch surfers from Israel there. We’ll all see each other again on Thursday on the meet up. I had a great evening!
