Classes Day two!
After yesterday we were wondering how bad it could get? That was a bad question to ask.
Megan didn't exactly have the greatest day and since I thought I had my schedule finalized I thought I would for sure I'd be in the clear. So, I went to my first two classes, Sociology and "Reading and Writing in the Disciplines", and although Megan was in that last class I could barely stay awake for all the teacher's crazy tangents and scatter-brain comments. The woman literally could not make a point if she tried! And she has her Doctorate in English...

She was a pretty wild professor, but at least the class didn't seem that hard. Of course Jared and I will do our best in all of the classes, but it would be nice if the work was easy so we could spend more time traveling than doing homework. My second class of the day was Greek 201, which I had breaded all day. Between every class I had I spent all day trying to finish the previous day's homework, which took me three hours to get going the night before. When it was my turn to answer one of the questions from the homework assignment, I once again stumbled over every other word and took me 10 minutes to spit out an awkward response. I think the rest of the class just thinks I'm a charity case and you can tell they try to overlook my inabilities. My homework tonight is to respond to one of three questions she wrote on the board and present a five minute speech to the class tomorrow. That's going to be fun. Right now, Jared is trying to help me translate the questions so that I can actually prepare a response. Wish me luck. If I can I am definitely switching out of this class. I'm already in the works of having other classes approved by Rollins, so cross your fingers! I really need to get out of this class, the only problem is that I am going to have a HUGE load when I come back to school in the spring. Oh well, I honestly think it would be worth it after these past two days.

Our last class of the day started at 6:30 and I was unsure whether or not FSU would count it as it kind of sounded like a speech class. So, on a whim I e-mailed my advisor and asked her if it would be ok thinking there would be no problem. Wrong again. She said that it was definitely a speech class and that I would have to find another class, AGAIN. So now I have to wait til tomorrow morning and try and change it then, hopefully getting into a higher level European History class so I can get some credits that mean something. At this point ACT is threatening me graduating early and Megan being able to do her 3-2 program and that's just not cool. But we had a brainstorming party and we think we can make everything work out by Friday. Just keep your fingers crossed.
After we got home around 8:45 tonight from ACT, Megan and I went to the supermarket and picked up a small dinner of bread, apples, pears, and some cheese (which turned out to be a mix of goat and sheep milk!). Everything but the cheese was great, and after the first few bites even the cheese was ok. So now were finishing things up, Megan doing her homework and me looking for the latest episode of Heroes on the internet, and hoping tomorrow will be better.

Kalinihta! Love you and miss you guys!
