When in Banos of course we had to try the baths. Favourite were the ones in an outdoor pool with about 50 others under a massive waterfall. Just amazing. At our hotel they also offerred some bizzare steam treatment that we tried where you get enclosed into a coffin like structure with only your head showing and swap between hot steam and cold water.
For Mel's last day we took an easy horse ride up to a waterfall - dodging buses on the main road at the start was the most exciting part!
